| Did the 2012 race finally get real this week? Maybe just a smidge, actually! As a fresher, I went for a short cocktail dress and my trusted Hunter wellies with those bright coloured fleece socks that fold over the top. I wore thick wool socks over my knees as well. This meant I got to have some fun with the colours; after all, it's better not to take yourself too seriously.
