On August 10th PhilippineZGamers was suspended, cutting off everyones access to the site. Now, 3 months later it seems countless rumors of theft, extortion and many other things have been thrown around in trying to explain why this happened.

Why did DeltaAnime own the domain?

Back in around 2007 DeltaAnime was called apon to buy the domain on behalf of Jonathan Miller due to another party threatening to buy it. For many many months previous to this Mr. Miller would apply the PhilippinezGamers.co.nr domain to everything he would touch (at the time, he was getting his hands into everything), but never actually owned it. Earlier in the day that DeltaAnime purchased it Keith was threatened that if he didn't purchase the domain by the end of the day, this other party would, simply for the fact of being a pest to Jojo.

After much thinking we decided to purchase it and maintain it all. Now, some may say that maintaining the domain is simple and requires no work which is true in most cases, but alas due to actions taken by Mr. Millers community amongst his own actions had made maintaining the domain a chore.

How? A domain is simple!

Complaints (and proof) ofeddling spyware, claims of DDOS attacks, claims of theft of software, hacking and countless things were forcing at least 2 - 3 emails a month and at least 2 threats of the removal of the domain.

But wasn't PhilippineZGamers a paying customer?

While PhilippineZNETWORK was a paying customer, the amount of maintainince required by them was more than the rest of our company combined. In a single month we had to restore the forum database 4 times due to 'hacking', restoring/recovering MSSQL databases due to constant use of unprotected code, cleaning out this home directory due to allowing kiddies place shell scripts in there, requiring reinstalls on windows multiple times due to trusting people they shouldn't have is just a small list of the constant headaches.

In the end Frantech and DeltaAnime were required to suspend much of PhilippineZGamers support due to constant abuse.

Wait, he was revoked from IRC as well?

Yes. Due to constantly getting his channel taken over (even though we have services), getting his scripts exploited, his bots exploited, his staff removed/added/going rogue lead to us, for a while, having to include 4 dedicated staffers in his channel of 30 users watching over them.

Now, Gunz is no small network. During peak hours we have over 300 users online, have communities that have over 800 users in there and don't even require staff members in them to monitor them.

So where is Jonathan Isorena/Slayer_xx now?

Jonathan has since then created PhilippineZNet.ucoz.net to 'rebirth/resurrect/insert other bible reference' his community. Users that wish to visit this community may do so at the bottom of the site. To date, this community isn't online but is assumed to be carrying a Ragnarok server And GunZ Philipines in some form.

Did anything else come from this?

A major part of PG's old GUNZ community has formed their own community under the PhilippineZGamers.page.TL name. This community has the first goal of getting a very feature/content rich GUNZ community and Private Server online as well as a solid antihack engine.

There is currently a Maple Story also in the works but the first goal is GUNZ.

So in the end why doesn't release the domain?

After 5 years of maintaining it e has no reason to release ownership of the domain as we are seen (not just legally by countless 3rd parties) as the owners of the domain and one of the backbones of the old LG community. The domain will be kept from now on pointing to this page so people are given an alternate view to the
